Day three brought more storms - torrential downpours, high winds, flooding. So, we headed west to escape the worst of it. We crisscrossed Rhode Island and Connecticut - visiting the campuses of Brown, Yale and UConn (among other things). The highlight? Providence. A quaint little capitol/college town with beautiful old buildings and gorgeous parks. We could have spent all day there.
