Tuesday: We took Claire to the pediatrician for her 4-month well baby check. Shannon took Grace to Bible study and we met them there. Then, we headed to Papa's Pizza for lunch and a few hours of play time.
Wednesday: Shannon and I took the girls to the tiny tots class at Skate World, then shopped at Costco for an hour, before making a St. Patrick's day feast for dinner.
Thursday: We headed to the zoo in the morning where we met our friends. We - six adults and ten kiddos - took over the place and stayed for 4+ hours. We then hit Old Navy with our friends and family coupons, headed to Whole Foods for a fun afternoon treat (for two very obedient almost 3 year olds) and on to the DollarTree and PetSmart. We then met Merrick at the park after work and were finally back home at 6:30.
Friday: Beach day! Shannon, Marisa and I packed up and took the kids to the coast for a few hour. We stopped at the Cheese Factory and then headed north to Cannon Beach were we could have spent hours more than we did.
Saturday: Merrick and I took the girls downtown and spent six hours walking through the streets, the Farmer's Market, Saturday Market, riding the Max and eating great food! Once home we did some yard work and watched the end of the Kansas/Northern Iowa basketball game... can you believe that ending? Madness!
When I have a life, the blog suffers. Hopefully I will have time to post more pictures and descriptions of our fun week in the sun. We are so happy to officially welcome spring today!
