Celebrating Christmas with the Brownlees was much different this year. With Gary and Margaret living in Newberg now, we didn't have our usual celebration sites and had to sort of start from scratch. Plans got made, and then changed, but in the end we had a good time. Well, dinner could have been better - our kids didn't nap, have been overloaded all week, and were horrible at the restaurant. It was not their finest hour. Other than that though, we did enjoy our food at the Rhinelander, and then had a quiet and simple evening together.
Our girls fell asleep on the way home. We knew they would. The rest of us played games, made a cookie tree, ate said cookie tree and laughed a lot.
